The North Carolina Department of Insurance Is Lowering Car Insurance Rates by 2.9 Percent

Looks like residents of North Carolina will be enjoying some car insurance savings in the near future. Futher details below in the snippet from yesterday's press release:

"A recent decision by the North Carolina Department of Insurance will save N.C. drivers $350 million in premium payments with its lowering of auto insurance rates by 2.9%. Charlotte Insurance enables customers to capitalize on this decision by finding the best insurance value according to the customer’s specific needs. The decided rate decrease is to take effect November 15, 2006."
